WILD FILMMAKER IN ROME: A RETURN TO ITS ROOTS AND A NEW INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER 2026 OCTOBER 25
For the first time, WILD FILMMAKER was also present in the city where it all began: Rome.
Rome marked the starting point of a long journey that has led WILD FILMMAKER to build a major international network dedicated to independent cinema and the people who bring it to life.
For this reason, taking part in the 21st edition of the Rome Film Fest, amid premieres, meetings, and new international connections, held a very special meaning for us: a return to our roots and an opportunity to introduce our community to a wider audience, while already looking ahead to the next stages of our journey.
And from Rome comes a particularly important announcement: the 10th edition of the Hollywood on Tiber Film Awards, a long-established event dedicated to celebrating independent cinema and, above all, promoting international co- productions.
The Hollywood on Tiber Film Awards existed even before WILD FILMMAKER was founded.
Carrying its legacy forward today means continuing a story that began with the goal of creating visibility, meaningful connections, and concrete opportunities for filmmakers and productions from around the world.
For this extraordinary event, we have selected a number of filmmakers from among the more than 100,000 artists who are now part of the WILD FILMMAKER Community, giving them international exposure through the press release dedicated to our presence at the Rome Film Fest.
These selected filmmakers will also have the opportunity to take part in the 10th edition of the Hollywood on Tiber Film Awards!
Here are the filmmakers selected for the press release that we are currently distributing to the leading media outlets attending the Festival:
